Day 7…..The last day of transition. Time is really flying. I can’t say that I want the time to drag though. Overall I am pleased with how this is progressing. I have had a few difficult days and know there will be more, but I also know that anything of real value comes at a price. I am really grateful that I understand how to juice fast…at least for myself. I know others perhaps have a different approach and I am all for whatever works. There has been much trial an error over the years and I am sure there is still a lot for me much to learn. Each juice fast is so different having different circumstance and experiences. Having read others journals while they were fasting, I do see many commonalities among their reports.
One such common expression is that the faster feels like they have been on a long trip away from the rat race, a kind of vacation you could say. I couldn’t agree more. In my experience this kind of “vacation” is much more refreshing and nourishing then a trip to Hawaii or a cruise to Mexico. I suppose that really depends on an individuals spiritual appetite and health. For me, this kind of vacation is a real vacation. However, there are some hills to climb before getting to the actual destination. With each fast being different,I am certain where this one is going I have not been. But as the Lord has provided with each one through the years, my expectation is that the best is still yet to come.
